FAQ
The Work
Q: What materials do you use?
A: I specialize in hand-sculpted artifacts made from .999 Fine Silver and Solid Bronze. Because I work with metal clay, these pieces are solid metal once fired, not plated. I also incorporate genuine pearls, Ethiopian opals, and ethically sourced gemstones. For necklaces and bracelets, I use 14k gold-filled or sterling silver findings.
Q: Is your jewelry really handmade?
A: Yes. Every piece is hand-sculpted, refined, and kiln-fired by me in my Connecticut studio. There are no mass-produced casts here; each piece carries the subtle marks of the artist’s hand.
Q: Can I customize a clasp or a chain?
A: Absolutely. If you’d like to upgrade a clasp or swap a chain on a specific piece, please reach out to me at help@ingavaughn.com. I want your artifact to feel perfect for you.
Ordering & Shipping
Q: How long will it take to receive my piece?
A: Because I hand-sculpt and kiln-fire each silver and bronze piece to order, please allow 10–14 days for your jewelry to be crafted and polished before it ships. Once it leaves my Connecticut studio, you will receive a tracking number.
Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Yes! I’m so happy to now offer international shipping. You can view the available countries and rates at checkout. Please note that international orders may experience longer lead times depending on your location, and I do not collect duties or taxes at checkout.
Q: Do you offer expedited shipping?
A: If you need an artifact for a specific date or gift, please email me at help@ingavaughn.com. I will always do my best to accommodate rush orders when my kiln schedule allows.
Note from the Artist: Each piece is hand sculpted and fired to order in my Connecticut studio. Please allow 10-14 days for your piece to be crafted, polished and shipped.
Custom Artifacts
Q: Do you take custom commissions?
A: I love the collaborative process of custom work. Whether it’s a specific variation of the Heritage Pickleball or a completely new idea, please fill out my Custom Inquiry Form or email me. I’ll respond within 1–2 business days.
Q: How long do custom pieces take and what do they cost?
A: Custom metalwork typically takes 2–3 weeks to complete. Pricing generally starts at $100 for custom bronze and reflects the complexity of the design and materials used. I provide a detailed quote after our initial consultation.
Care & Repairs
Q: How do I care for silver and bronze?
A: Silver and bronze are living metals that develop a beautiful patina over time. Each order includes a care card, but you can also visit my Jewelry Care page for deep-cleaning tips to keep your pieces shining.
Q: What if my jewelry needs a repair?
A: I stand by my work. If your piece needs a repair or a "refresh," please contact me. I’m happy to help restore your artifact to its original beauty.
General
Q: How can I contact you?
A: You can reach me directly at help@ingavaughn.com. As a solo artist and mom, I do my best to respond to all inquiries within 1–2 business days.
Q: Do you have a physical store?
A: I don’t have a storefront—my work is sold exclusively through my online studio and select artisan pop-ups.
Q: Do you offer wholesale or bulk pricing?
A: I am currently opening up select opportunities for wholesale partnerships with boutiques, gift shops, and galleries that align with the Inga Vaughn aesthetic.
Because each of my artifacts is hand-sculpted and fired to order in my Connecticut studio, my wholesale capacity is intentionally limited. If you’re interested in becoming one of my inaugural stockists, please email me at help@ingavaughn.com with your shop's name and location. I’d love to see if we’re a good fit.
If you’re interested in carrying my silver or bronze pieces, please email me at help@ingavaughn.com with your shop's name, location, and a bit about why you think we’d be a good fit.
