Beaded & Knotted Jewelry

For my silk-cord and beaded designs, the focus is on protecting the organic nature of the materials:

• The "Last On" Rule: Always apply perfumes, lotions, and hairsprays before putting on your jewelry.

• Keep it Dry: Water can weaken silk cord and affect the luster of pearls and opals. Remove these pieces before swimming or showering.  

• Storage: Lay beaded necklaces flat to prevent the cord from stretching.
