Fine Silver Care & Information

The Alchemy of Silver

Fine Silver is the metal of the light. While most jewelry is made from Sterling Silver (.925), I work with .999 Fine Silver—the purest form of the metal. It is whiter, more lustrous, and carries a brilliant, moon-like glow that Sterling simply cannot match.

Choosing Fine Silver is a commitment to purity. It is a weighted, substantial material that feels like a piece of the cosmos held in your hand.

Hand-Sculpted & Fired

Every silver artifact begins as raw silver clay. Through the application of intense heat, the organic binders burn away, and the microscopic silver particles sinter together into solid, pure metal.

Because I hand-sculpt each piece, from the integrated bails to the open-back stone settings, your jewelry remains an authentic artifact. It isn't a mass-produced cast; it is a one-of-a-kind creation that bears the subtle, intentional marks of its making.

The Brilliance of Purity

Because .999 Fine Silver does not contain the copper found in Sterling Silver, it is much more resistant to tarnish. It stays whiter and brighter longer, maintaining that "freshly unearthed" look with minimal effort.

Care & Maintenance

Daily Wear

A Softer Metal: Pure silver is slightly softer than sterling. This makes it more precious, but also more prone to small "character marks" if knocked against hard surfaces. Wear it with care.

Beauty First: As with all fine jewelry, apply your perfumes and lotions before putting on your silver to protect its luster.

Water: Fine silver loves to be worn. Unlike plated metals, it won’t fade or “peel" in the shower, but I recommend removing it before swimming in chlorinated pools or hot springs to avoid chemical reactions.

Cleaning & Restoration

Routine: A simple wipe with a soft, lint-free cloth is usually all it needs.

Polishing: Use the polishing cloth provided with your order to maintain the high-shine finish. Because it’s pure silver, it will return to its original brilliance almost instantly.

Deep Clean: For pieces with stones (like the Solas Star), a soft toothbrush and very mild dish soap can be used to clear dust from the open-back setting, allowing the light to pull through the stone once again.

Storage

When your artifact isn't resting on your skin, store it in the provided pouch. Keeping it in a dry, airtight space will ensure it stays bright and ready for your next wear.

A Permanent Legacy

Fine silver is an investment in a legacy. These pieces are designed to be lived in, loved, and eventually passed down. They are not disposable; they are permanent.
