Imperia Ring
Imperia Ring
I've said it before, and if you've been following my work for a while, you know bronze rings are usually the bane of my existence. I've sworn off making them so many times. But I set out to make this piece just for fun, and the second it was finished, I completely fell in love with it. I shared it on my Instagram page, the response from all of you was incredible, and I knew I couldn't keep her to myself. So here she is.
I named this piece Imperia, derived from the Latin for power, command, and enduring presence. I wanted to create a ring with this stone for a while now and I think it’s captured the feeling of strength and clarity. I want you to feel strong, confident and proud of yourself for what you’ve gone through to make it this far. Imperia represents that for me.
This piece features a 12x10mm antique emerald step cut cubic zirconia, set in a clean East-West orientation. Hand-sculpted in solid bronze, the bezel frame is hand-polished to a high-shine mirror finish that highlights the vintage geometry of the stone. Designed for a commanding presence on the hand, the substantial band carries a satisfying weight while maintaining a comfortable contour for daily wear. I also designed it with an open azure back to let light pass straight through the stone. I think she makes a perfect statement pinky ring.
Because of the labor-intensive nature of sculpting and firing bronze rings, these will be available and made to order for a very limited time.

A Note on Bronze
This piece is handcrafted from bronze clay. Broze is an alloy made up of copper and tin (*Nickel free) and it is extremely strong. It may develop a natural patina, deepen in color, or react to your environment over time. Factors such as skin chemistry, humidity, lotions, soaps, and airborne compounds all influence how the metal responds. This is a natural and celebrated characteristic of bronze, not a defect.
Patina can be easily managed at home using a polishing cloth which is included in your order. I recommend wiping it down before and after wearing and your ring will remain in excellent condition.
It's also worth noting that bronze may temporarily turn your skin green with extended wear. This is a completely harmless reaction between the metal and your skin's natural chemistry, and it washes off easily with soap and water.
If you are unfamiliar with the properties of bronze, please take a moment to read my Bronze Care & Information guide before purchasing to confirm it is the right fit for you. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that you understand these natural characteristics. Because each piece is made to order, please note that natural patina and surface changes are not considered defects and are not covered under the custom order return policy.
