I don't believe in hollow jewelry. I sculpt each of these by hand from raw metal clay, firing them in the kiln until they become solid, substantial pieces of sculpture. At roughly 9 grams of metal, these rings have a physical weight to them—a constant, tactile reminder of the fire they came from.
The design is a study in movement, inspired by the shifting snow drifts outside my window and the fluid lines of the New England tide. I've engineered these bands to nest perfectly together, so you can stack different metals to create your own silhouette. Because I don't use mass-produced molds, every curve is shaped by my own hands. No two rings are ever exactly the same, and yours will carry its own unique fingerprint of the kiln.
The Details
I forge these from solid .999 fine silver or solid bronze. I finish each one with high-polish peaks that catch the light. Since this is a wider, more substantial ring, I personally prefer to wear mine as a thumb ring stack.
Note from the Artist: Each piece is hand sculpted and fired to order in my Connecticut studio. Please allow 10-14 days for your piece to be crafted, polished and shipped.
