The Tabula Ring

I sculpted the Tabula to be a clean slate, a solid foundation for the marks that matter most to you. In the ancient world, a tabula was a tablet used to record history. I created this ring to hold yours.

Carrying a substantial presence of roughly 9 grams of metal, the Tabula features a smooth, flat face designed for a custom inscription. Whether it is an initial, a date, or a symbol of a season you have survived, this ring serves as a heavy, tactile reminder of where you have been.

•  Fit & Sizing: Hand-sculpted band built for comfort. Because this signet design features a flat, top-heavy face, it can sit slightly looser than standard flat bands. I recommend sizing down a half size for the most secure fit. Please note that minor sizing variations may occur due to natural clay shrinkage during firing.

 A Note on Pure Fine Silver & Solid Bronze: Solid .999 fine silver (pure silver with no alloyed base metals) and solid bronze (a classic alloy of pure copper and tin) naturally react over time to external environmental factors, skin chemistry, soaps, and moisture. Normal patina and oxidation are inherent characteristics of solid metals and can be easily maintained with a polishing cloth or gentle cleaning paste.

Note from the Artist: Each piece is hand sculpted and fired to order in my Connecticut studio. Please allow 2-3 weeks for your piece to be crafted, polished, and shipped.
