Volare is Latin for "to fly". I made the Volare charm because it is so easy to underestimate the hummingbird. Even though they are tiny, they are some of the most resilient creatures on earth. Right now, they are starting their long journey back north. They travel thousands of miles on those little wings just by being persistent.
I knew I needed to sculpt a hummingbird for this collection because of what they symbolize. This charm is for the person who might need a reminder of the strength it takes to keep showing up for yourself through the hard seasons of life.
As we move into spring, I want this piece to be a reminder of your own capacity to endure and finally find the bloom. It is a solid, sculptural piece that feels weighted and intentional, but still light enough to be your everyday companion.
